City Lickers is completely different from the typical, mass scale boarding kennel. Our suite dimensions are
12’ x 12’, thereby allowing an abundance of space for your dog. The suites are large enough to use as “family
rooms” for those clients who want their dogs to stay together. Your dog will not be mixed in with other client’s
dogs.
Each suite, by means of doggie doors, has access to a private outside yard. Two impact resistant full view glass doors in each suite allow the dogs to look outside while being inside the room. The City Lickers concept has been carefully planned to ensure a comfortable, private and less stressful stay for your dog.
For sanitary reasons, each suite has it’s own air handler system. The suites and private yards will be cleaned
throughout the day. Food preparation and food storage will be contained in each individual suite. City Lickers
is truly “one on one”, individualized care. We are not a large, mass scale facility.
City Lickers is owned by
Karen and Peter Harrison, who reside on the property. The entire premises is locked at all
times and not
open to the general public. At present, there are only three individual suites at our facility.

Boarding Rates
Single Suite: (12’ x 12’)
$40.00 per night, one dog.
Family Suite: (12’ x 12’) $40.00 per night, first dog.
$15.00 per night, each additional dog.
A family suite can be reserved when you have more than one dog and you would like for them to stay together in one suite.

Facilities
Our suite cottage was built using a Panelized Construction System designed by Home Front Homes.
We used this system for several reasons.
Environmentally Friendly
The primary components are made of
polystyrene, cement board, and steel.
The materials do not foster
the growth
of termites. Mold find little or no
host material, and none of the materials
off-gas into the building envelope.
Strong
Lab-Certified, Hurricane–Tested. Home
Front building components have been
tested in South Florida materials testing
laboratories in winds up to 200 mph.

Energy Efficient
The wall and roof panels, consisting of a polystyrene sandwich, have a minimum approximate insulating
value of R-20 and the ceiling panels, R-30. Because of
the extraordinary insulating values, the City Lickers
boarding cottage requires much less energy to heat
and cool, reducing their carbon footprints on the environment.
Sound Barrier
The panels provide an ultimate sound barrier from one suite to another so that the dog barking noise is greatly minimized.

In an effort to maintain a healthy environment for all our guests, the following
immunizations are required prior to your stay with us.
